But honey, it's Mabon.
Time to get your Druid learn on again. In two days--the 23rd this year--it's the Fall or Autumnal Equinox but many will celebrate it today. Cultures and religions worldwide like to get weird this time of year. We can't get into it right now. We could get mighty animated and frustrated with you trying to explain it--and accidentally turn you into a goddamn Newt, or a Ferret, or something. This more or less happened at a Pittsburgh office party last fall. For now, just know it's also known as Mabon, Foghar, Alban Elfed, Harvest Home, Second Harvest, Fruit Harvest (esp. SF), and Wine Harvest (Boston). You can look it up. What's Mabon, anyway?
